ABOUT ELY SKIP HIRE
Ely Skip Hire is a family-run business, set up to provide the local area with an efficient, friendly service which they can rely on. We were established back in 1985, originally supplying a small amount of mini skips locally within Ely. The business has grown over the 40 years and now provides skips of all sizes and waste management services across Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Norfolk.

The business has stayed strong for over 25 years, with a loyal customer base of local construction workers and homeowners, and we think our success may be down to our approach to customer service. We always try to go the extra mile for our customers, offering a flexible, versatile service. You can tailor your order to meet your exact needs, choosing your ideal skip from nine different sizes and choosing how long you wish to hire it for – from 30 minutes, to 30 days!
We understand that sometimes things can’t be planned in advance, so we make sure that our skip and aggregate deliveries are quick and efficient. We always try to provide same day delivery were possible, but if it’s not we’ll make sure that we get your things to you the very next day.
We’re also extremely committed to our environmental policies, and we do everything that we can to ensure that our waste removal service has minimal impact on the environment. All of the waste we pick up from your property will be taken to a local licensed recycling plant, and we make sure that everything that can be recycled is. We usually recycle around 95% of all waste we receive, so you can feel completely assured that your waste is being disposed of responsibly by Registered Waste Carriers.

We supply sharp or soft sand, concrete ballast, 10mm or 20mm gravel, 20mm or 30mm limestone aggregate, or MOT type 1.
No! We can deliver any amount of aggregate from 1 to 1000 tonnes, or more. All our materials are sourced responsibly from a local quarry.
In most cases, we can provide same-day delivery. If, for any reason, this is not possible, we can deliver the very next day. However, we only deliver in the Ely area. Alternatively, you can collect your aggregates from us as we work across Cambridgeshire.
